108 Media and Aurora Media Announce Multi-Title Co-Production Partnership

Singapore – 108 Media, the Singapore-based global content distribution and development company with offices in Toronto, Japan and Hong Kong, announces it’s multi-title co-production partnership with Aurora Media, Asia’s leading media & entertainment asset incubation, investment & management company.

This new partnership will see both companies joining together to acquire and develop original content and third-party IP’s. They will finance, produce, distribute and license 10-15 projects annually in both feature motion pictures and television series across various genres for the global market.

Included in the 2018 joint slate is a new film Rafira, penned by Raja Ilya and Donny Alamsyah, which begins filming in Indonesia and Malaysia starting Q2 of 2018. Rafira tells the story of a Malaysian politician’s daughter who’s kidnapped at her own wedding and the emotional fallout after her release.

Paradise Lost from acclaimed writer, director, producer Christian Halman. This exotic thriller will begin shooting in South East Asia early next year. Paradise Lost is an adventure in a far away paradise that turns into a hellish nightmare as a group of biologists set out to find their missing friends.  Instead, the exploration party finds something much more terrifying waiting for them.

Laotian filmmaker Mattie Do’s The Long Walk is also slated for release under the deal.
